Well, it's the crunch for Who's Your Dada. Things have, in their magical mental fashion, all come together. I'm very excited about this show. There's loads to see and take in.
By now you've all seen my Xtra cover too. Someone biked by me last night as I was on my way to DJ the Parkdale Pride party (by far my favourite gig yet) and said, "Nice cover!" and I replied, "I know, eh? Even I'm masturbating to it!"
Modesty is my touchstone.
Anyway, we are suggesting you get your tickets for both our events (including Ride the Seam www.partiste.com for deets) because if you recall, we sold out 8 nights at Buddies for Under the Mink. You will want to avoid disappointment, as they say. I should clear up a few details of the Blue Box, too. This is a fully closed off set that we're building in the style of one of the sets for our own films (in this case, the AbDADAduction). Lukas Blakk, our trusty cameralady and editor will be on hand to help you film a little reel of peep or what have you, and will burn it for you on the spot. You have five minutes to do this, with no take-overs or edits etc. It's guerrilla style! Seska will be around to relay anecdotes of her own life in the biz and offer tips. It'll be fun!
